Our Ideology
Court & Mowhay Farm is primarily a working farm and our magnificent horses who govern our farm are likely to come and greet you on arrival.
It is our animals that take precedence at Court & Mowhay and with this in mind we like to keep things small, simple and as environmentally friendly as possible.

THE FARM
At Court & Mowhay Farm we hope that you love and respect nature as much as we do. Keep your eyes peeled and you might spot badgers, deer, foxes and more.

Compost Toilet
Private fire pit for each of our bell tents. Please provide your own cooking equipment and we will provide sufficient logs to get your first fire roaring. Additional logs will be available onsite, or can be purchased from our local farm shop
Each of our bell tents are provided with a solar eco shower. For the ultimate camping experience enjoy the thrill of a shower outdoors. If you like your shower a little warmer, then you'd better get that camp fire blazing

Availability - We have 5 bell tents available for hire and limited space for additional tent pitches. If you require a tent pitch please call to check availability.

NO Electric hook up - No mod cons here, if you want to charge your phone, make sure you bring a portable charger.

Facilities - Each bell tent is furnished with a double bed, bedding, adequate seating, camp shower and fire pit We DO NOT provide, cooking equipment, towels, toiletries,etc. Please bring what you need. There is a local farm shop nearby and a selection of supermarkets in town for anything you forget to bring.

Lighting - Part of the beauty of out campsite is the limited light pollution so you can experience the beauty of the night sky. Basic lighting will be provided, so please don't forget your torch for those inevitable trips to the toilet.

Fire pit - Please ensure your fire is contained within your fire pit and ensure that it is well maintained.
​
Fire safety - Please do not use any cooking equipment inside your tent
​
Dog Friendly - We love dogs at the farm, we do however kindly request that you respect the farm, farm animals and other campers. Please pick up your dog poo and keep your dog on a lead, that’s all we ask. Please note there is an additional charge for dogs.

Car free campsite - We do not allow cars on our campsite. Once you have parked your car, there is a short walk (downhill) to your tent. Please bear this in mind when packing.

Drive slowly - When entering and leaving the campsite, drive slowly, REALLY slowly! The road is pretty bumpy!
The roads leading to the farm are narrow and winding, please take your time.

Quiet camping - Our campsite is a peaceful, tranquil place. Please be considerate of other campers and our friendly neighbours and keep the volume down, especially in the evenings.
